2.7 Million Pets Helped in 2019
Today is National Love Your Pet Day, and while my cats Ashin and Kenji might argue that we celebrate this every day at home, it’s the perfect moment to highlight how much Banfield also loves giving back to pets, communities, society and each other! We never take for granted that these are all connected, and I’m proud of how we extend care into our communities, aiming to be a beacon for how companies ought to behave.
The release of our 2019 Banfield Corporate Social Responsibility (link) and Banfield Foundation Impact Reports (link) highlight our commitment to serving vulnerable pets, educating youth about future veterinary careers, scaling the tremendous work of shelters, supporting each other and this profession – and so much more!

· Impacting more than 170,000 pets and people through Banfield’s paid volunteer program.
· Scaling the important work of shelters and rescues across the country with more than $2.4 million in grants awarded by our charitable arm, the Banfield Foundation – including important work in disaster response.
· Partnering with our foundation to deliver free preventive care to vulnerable pets through more than 40 community clinics.
· Continuing our sustainability journey with the launch of electronic invoices and checkout paperwork instead of printed receipts.
