Individual health and wellbeing have become increasingly hot topics over the past year -- not only in business but in our society at large. Being pulled out of the standard cycle of our day-to-day lives gave us all the time and space to consider some pretty serious questions: Are we truly taking care of ourselves? Are we connected with ourselves? For leaders -- are we doing all we can to care for our teams’ emotional, mental, and physical wellbeing?
These are important questions, and as we progress into our “new normal” post-pandemic it is vital that we -- both as individuals and organizations -- take action to ensure that we make Health and Wellbeing an absolute priority. When we have the resources to feel our best, we are able to BE our best for our clients, colleagues, and community! Chatting with Eve Prieto -- Director of Meditation and one of the narrators for Headspace -- helped enlighten ways for us all to approach our health and wellbeing in new ways, dispel myths, and confirm that reconnection with ourselves is always a challenge at first!
